Product Description
The myBuddy 280 Pi is Elephant Robotics' first dual-arm collaborative robot, powered by Raspberry Pi. As a 13-axis humanoid service robot, it combines two 6-DOF arms with a 1-DOF waist rotation, delivering a working radius of 280mm per arm in a compact, desktop-friendly form factor.
Designed for education, research, and lightweight automation, myBuddy supports Python, ROS, and drag-and-teach programming. Its open-source ecosystem and extensive software support make it ideal for AI research, human-robot interaction studies, and STEM education.
Each arm carries a 250g payload and features high-precision servo joints, enabling coordinated dual-arm tasks such as assembly, sorting, and object manipulation. The integrated Raspberry Pi 4B controller provides onboard computing without the need for an external PC.
With its humanoid dual-arm configuration, competitive price point, and rich API support, the myBuddy 280 Pi is the most cost-effective dual-arm robot for developers and educators entering collaborative robotics.
